TV Dinner Cupcakes



Look at these cupcakes my sister-in-law Holly and friend Caitlin brought over for me yesterday. Aren't they hilarious?! Thanks gals.

  7. I still haven't tried the mashed potatoes and gravy cupcake (a little nervous to dig into it). The gravy is melted caramel.

  14. I think, after looking at the food, the looks like the pat of butter could be a lemon starburst, and the peas look like lime skittles. The only thing I can figure for the carrots are a dried fruit like papaya or it's like a fondant. I love the eggwhite bones. They're a nice touch.

  19. Hi, I'm a random stranger who was emailed your blog address by a friend. I basically have got to have the recipe and directions for how to make those shaped cupcakes in order to continue on living lol. How did she do that? Can you post the directions, please?

    yeah, look up the book "hello, cupcake!" you'll find that same design in that book. VERY cute ideas, and a lot of fun. always the topic of a party.

  23. lol, those totally came from paula deen... the carrots and butter is starbursts, the peas are skittles and m&m's, the chicken legs have a donut hole under the frosting with a white chocolate bone in them and they are covered with corn flake crumbs.. i love these, they are so fun to make with the kids

    Chicken bones are white chocolate that they piped onto wax paper and let dry. The crispy chicken is frosted flake cereal, the mashed potatoes is vanilla buttercream,caramel sauce and a lemon starburst, peas and carots are lime skittles and orange starburst cut into cubes.

  28. well all you who thank you know what you are talking the peas are not skittles they are runts yes the butter is starburst and so are the carrots but the bone is wafer chocolate harden in the fridge
