The Ruffalo's Home

Okay ... I think the Ruffalos, as in Mark and Sunrise (how awesome is that name?) featured in Domino have pretty much nailed my dream home. It is gorgeous and exudes a comfortable, 'welcome-home' feeling. This is definitely one for the inspiration board. See more images here.

I've been in their home and it's even better than the photos. It's beautiful but also so warm, comfortable and casual. They're kids are running around and are welcome everywhere which adds to the warm atmosphere.

  12. Hey there,
I found your blog and started reading from the earliest posts and have recently finished and during me reading your blog I found myself thinking about an idea that might be perfect for you and your blog so I sent an email to you explaining it. That was about a week ago. I don't mean to be pushy and it may have gone into your spam but please, if you find it take the time to read it and email me back.
    Thank you. :D

The kid's room is an inspiration - so much color without overbearing primaries and tons of plastic junk. What style. I've actually met Sunrise at her old jewelry store, Kaviar & Kind, and she is a gorgeous little wisp of a woman. What a beautiful home they have.

  21. I agree! It's a gorgeous home, so comfy and welcoming and chic. I especially love that although they probably have a lot more money than the average blogger, the home doesn't look "wealthy." Patricia

  22. I loved the Ruffalo's home in Domino. I studied it again last night and realized that my favorite room is the master bedroom. It's very grownup yet cozy and inviting to their children. And I'm sucker for Belgian linens.
