Okay ... I think the Ruffalos, as in Mark and Sunrise (how awesome is that name?) featured in Domino have pretty much nailed my dream home. It is gorgeous and exudes a comfortable, 'welcome-home' feeling. This is definitely one for the inspiration board. See more images here.

ReplyDeleteI saw this home a few days ago online @ Domino & later in the magazine. I love it! I like all the richly colored accents like the bench in the hallway!
ReplyDeleteMy husband went to school with Mark in Virginia Beach- Looks like his house is as cool as he is!
ReplyDeletei love it. what a rare treat to see a minimalist home that manages to look homey. and i did just get a subscription offer from domino...
ReplyDeleteI literally could have posted this exact same blog post today. actually, i was looking for images on dominomag.com to do so!!! loved that home and that feature. droooooool ;)
ReplyDeleteI've been in their home and it's even better than the photos. It's beautiful but also so warm, comfortable and casual. They're kids are running around and are welcome everywhere which adds to the warm atmosphere.

ReplyDeleteits sad what just happened to his brother! :(
There are so many beautiful moments in that home, but the one I love best is the garden. Just perfect.

ReplyDeleteHey there,
ReplyDeleteI found your blog and started reading from the earliest posts and have recently finished and during me reading your blog I found myself thinking about an idea that might be perfect for you and your blog so I sent an email to you explaining it. That was about a week ago. I don't mean to be pushy and it may have gone into your spam but please, if you find it take the time to read it and email me back.
Thank you. :D
i know! i especially loved the entry way.
ReplyDeleteI love their backyard patio!
ReplyDeleteI loved it too! A cool mix of things that manages to look polished and still comfortable. Also adore the scarf on the bench by the entry way. So pretty.
ReplyDeletegorgeous! and i'd love to live with mark ruffalo :)
ReplyDeletewow, this place is gorgeous. I love the kids bedroom.
ReplyDeletelove the use of bright color throughout... it makes for a very inviting, warm and personal enviroment...
ReplyDeleteThe kid's room is an inspiration - so much color without overbearing primaries and tons of plastic junk. What style. I've actually met Sunrise at her old jewelry store, Kaviar & Kind, and she is a gorgeous little wisp of a woman. What a beautiful home they have.
ReplyDeletei just browsed through a book of children room decoration. I really love their bedroom. Many of them i want it as my own. (childish, huh ?) I like the bedroom in this post too. love the picture of two bed.

I agree! It's a gorgeous home, so comfy and welcoming and chic. I especially love that although they probably have a lot more money than the average blogger, the home doesn't look "wealthy." Patricia
ReplyDeleteI loved the Ruffalo's home in Domino. I studied it again last night and realized that my favorite room is the master bedroom. It's very grownup yet cozy and inviting to their children. And I'm sucker for Belgian linens.
