That ceiling is my favorite thing to always go and see when I go to Vegas. I've been the 5 times and I have over 30 pics of just the ceiling!!

  8. Isn't the Chihuly sculpture gorgeous? I haven't seen it in a long time. Just a couple weeks ago I saw his installation at the Desert Botanical Garden in Phoenix. Spectacular! He's an amazing artist.

  12. Aren't there pieces by Chihuly in casinos all over the world? Isn't that the artist who said "art is not permanent" and then floated some of his pieces out to sea?

  13. Diane - yes, he did float a bunch of pieces out to sea, in Venice. He goes all over the place and does installations and wherever installations are put, he always leaves at LEAST one piece behind to the museum/public garden/etc. Pretty awesome!
