Forage Restaurant

Last weekend a friend and I had a girl's night and decided to treat ourselves by going to the lovely restaurant Forage in Salt Lake City. If you are ever looking to go out for a special evening dinner in Salt Lake, I would very highly recommend this place. They have two fixed-price course menus (we went with the 3-course) with options changing depending on seasons and local availability. Chef's Bowman Brown and Viet Pham created flavors that were unique and delectable and as you can see from my phone shots -- there was definitely artful beauty on the plates. It was delightful to have some amuse-bouches and I still can't get over how stunning the 'vegetable garden' first course was. I can't wait to take my husband back for a special occasion.

The food looks so pretty and delicious. I'm definitely going to head over there and try it out.
Wow, very creative!
Your new phone is taking some sweet shots Rachel. I love how they turned out! Gorgeous, gorgeous, gorgeous. Still dreaming of that meal....
LOVE LOVE LOVE the food displays. they are both chaotic and controlled. great color combinations and making me very hungry!
Wow, those shots were from your phone?! So pretty, love the middle one with the beets. Not sure whether I want to frame it or eat it!
I have been dying to go there. We are so close we could ride bikes there (and back to burn off a three hour meal).
This is a favorite of mine as well! I posted about my fun experience at Forage here: http://www.thevintagemixer.com/2009/12/forage-salt-lake-city-utah.html

Herbs, greens, fruits, berries, nuts, seeds, roots, and mushrooms that people have been using for food and home remedies for thousands of years abound in backyards and local parks, escaping notice unless they're sold at high prices in health food stores or green markets.

The graphic design of this blog is absolutely phenomenal. It makes me want to just look at it all and drink it in.
I really like your blog and the graphic design that you have on here is really clean and good looking. I have a friend who is learning how to design blogs and layouts and he really enjoyed yours. Keep up the good work.
