Envelope Journal

As I still contemplate whether or not to get a 2012 'paper' planner this year, I came across this Envelope Journal from Present and Correct that looks amazing. How sweet it would be to collect (in a structured and minimal way) little cool bits of life as a monthly series.

Are you an all-digital planner or a paper agenda type of person? I have usually been an all digital gal but for some reason this year I want a more tactile experience and to see more handwriting.

Pretty cool agenda! Matches the concept of the "getting things done" system.

I'm more a paper type, mixed with digital (which I think is more practical nowadays) making it sometimes a little bit messy to have everything split, but I just can't give up paper and ink, it's way more beautiful.

I still prefer to write it on paper. It has a personal touch. Happy New Year!

it's my second year using it. i can view my agenda by week and month at the same time. love. and there are all sorts of OCD-friendly places for lists, to-dos, notes, etc. :) can't recommend it enough.

Oooh, this is cute. Love it. I definitely write on my daily to dos on paper. It just feels so tactical and present to have it in my handwriting. And scratching things off my list is so fun!

I am right there with you...still contemplating. Luckily I have until the end of the month (that's when my current paper calendar runs out). This is a great tip, thanks!

love it, i would use it as a personal diary though, saving little items from each month for memorabilia x

I love this idea, and it wouldn't be too hard to come up with something similar on your own. A nice way to keep a few meaningful momentos of trips & occasions that are so hard to throw away! ...also, just bought my paper calendar yesterday!! And I love paper lists too -totally old school, but I keep trying to go digital!

Oh that's so lovely ... in the past I've tried to use a paper based diary, but I never seem to stick with using it through the whole year. I tend to rely on electronic calendars on reminders from my iPhone ... and any little bits and pieces I collect generally end up in my top desk drawer.

I've always prefered paper, I just can't quite give my entire life over to digital just yet. I still buy a colourful mini Filofax every year and every time I get it out my boyfriend cringes!

It is really a great idea

I use both – digital and handwritten – I like the uncomplicated handling with my iPhone, but I don't want to miss my paper-planner. It's more inspiring and I can make drawings and pin photos into and use it also as a journal.

I spend too much time in the digital world as it is, so I've been writing it all down in a Filofax Mini for many years now. Last year I got myself a hot pink one which makes me smile every time I spy it in my bag.

I'm a TOTAL paper organizer person (if I forget to bring my organizer out with me it's like I've lost my head and I completely forget my schedule for the day)- I've been using the Moleskine organizers for the past couple of years and they are PERFECT. There's an entire page for notes for each week, and there's sufficient space to jot down appointments and to-do lists for each day as well! Cannot recommend it enough!!

This looks so cool :) I've been trying to decide if I want one or not too. This one looks very fun + you would want to look back at it in the future.

Love this. I am the same as you. Hoping to move back to writing things down instead of typing them and saving them on my online calendar. x

This is a great idea. I would write on whatever is near by, pick up souvenirs I find, etc. Then I would scan them into my computer and print it all out in a blurb book.
