Noosa Yoghurt

I kind of have a thing for yogurt, if you follow me on instagram (or other posts) you will see the variety I like to try.

The other day I was struck in the yogurt aisle by something new I haven't seen before, Noosa yoghurt. The pretty packaged cream-cheese sized container (which serves 2) stood out amongst the yogurt crowd. I was also delighted by the g'day cow greeting on the inner sealed label, talk about attention to detail. I got honey and raspberry and it is a different consistency of yogurt than I am used to, like panna cotta creaminess, I really love it. It's not as thick as Greek, not too soft like European, but just right - Aussie style made in Colorado. Hello to my new scrumptious favorite yogurt!

Do you have a favorite yogurt that you have tried lately? If you see Noosa around give it a whirl and tell me what you think.

I saw it at the local Whole Foods for a while, tried it and liked it. We made raita with it. Yum.

Hahaha, I did a double take when I saw Noosa... (it's in my home state of Queensland). How you described the yoghurt is exactly how we love our yoghurt here in Australia. It's good to see that you like it that way also. x

Ooo...can't wait to give that one a try. It sounds and looks amazing! Maybe it's the mom in me, but I also totally love it when yogurts come with lids so you can easily save any remaining bits for later. Thanks for the recommendation!

Oh, I would love to try that. I have been going back and forth between Chobani and Siggi.

Noosa sounds delicious! My favourite yogurt, which is only available in a town about 1 1/2 hours from where I live, is Stonyfield Organic's Chocolate Underground - it is so creamy and yummy, like a dessert.

I saw that at Whole Foods the other day. I now wish I would have picked some up. My kids love yogurt, so I guess I need to go back. :)

If you recommend it, I know it's going to be good.

I JUST found this yogurt too! It's our new fave yogurt as well. Love the texture and flavor. We first found it at Whole Foods (in CA) but just saw it stocked in our local grocery store (Pavilions) as well. Whoo hoo!

I'm from Queensland in Australia too, and this tickles my happy bones. I quite like the packaging. Am intrigued as to how an Aussie recipe ended up in the hands of a Colorado farmer, but I suppose the world is a very small place now...

Yogurt is on my top 10 happy list. I do have a thing for that runnier tart european stuff though. My go to is Straus whole milk yogurt..they have a tasty cinnamon flavor.

I can't resist new yogurts myself. Redwood Hill goat milk plain is excellent for cooking or just honey and granola. Brown Cow maple is also deliciously creamy. Hope I can find the Noosa.

We go through so much yogurt. We have started to make our own, it is pretty darn easy, much cheaper and there is a lot less waste. We make it in canning jars and put water in our crock pot to let the cultures do thier thing!

We've been eating Noosa for quite a while. I found it at Whole Foods then a local grocer began stocking it as well. It's the best and only yogurt I buy! So Good. Although I always look at the nutrition label and laugh...2 servings per container? I'm not sure I have ever stopped at the recommended 1 serving size!
