I dig good cover songs done by artists who put their own flavor on them in a amazing way. Here is a really great one by Bon Iver, that I recently came across...

    i second whoever said "sea of love" by cat power, her "i found a reason" is really good too.
    "islands in the stream" by feist and the constantines
    bon iver's cover of feist's "the park"
    taken by trees covers of "sweet child of mine" and animal collective's "my girls" her version is "my boys"
    regina spektor's covers of "real love" and radiohead's "no surprises"
    jem's cover of "maybe i'm amazed"
    first aid kit's cover of fleet foxes "tiger mountain peasant song"
    those are just a few of my favorites.
