Coming across the work of South Korean artist Choi Jeong-Hwa instantly made me happy and revived my creative spirit. I spent some time going through all his work on his website which is insanely cool, bright and upbeat. He is an amazing artist with so many great ideas and conceptual thinking to be intrigued by. From crazy balloons to floral installations and discarded objects like buckets and tupperware he knows how to pack a punch transforming everyday objects into new bold creations.

The last picture made me think of Monsters, Inc and all of the doors that lead to childrens' rooms. :p
ReplyDeleteI love the balloons! So fun, I can just picture myself as a child, crawling underneath.

ReplyDeleteOhhh! I agree with Heather - first thing that comes to mind: Monster's Inc! Wow! What a building.
ReplyDeleteThese are great and I'm glad I read the other comments I hadn't thought of monsters Inc but it's so true!
