Marc Jacobs

I am completely enamoured by this collection. The bright, flirty, layered and textured Marc Jacobs Spring 2009 Ready to Wear collection, does not disappoint. According to Style.com they called it. "a mash-up to end all mash-ups". What are your thoughts? (see all of the collection and images sources - here)

ps. Are you noticing the trend of slim silhouettes and less revealing looks overall at Fashion Week? Showing less skin is so sexy... it brings an element of wonder and excitement in a good way to the figure. love it.

Alison Lewis

Joanna was right on target with my aesthetic when she emailed me about this post. I love, love Alison Lewis and her style.

Boon

I was thinking about getting a frog (seen at Target) but now I am leaning toward getting the ladybug. Boon has such playful and modern products. (via ohdeedoh)

Autumn Wedding

After seeing these shots, my thoughts on a autumn barn yard wedding have changed for the better. Now, I want to throw some type of harvest or fall party. (photos by Ross Whitaker from here)

I wish this also came in a toddler sizes. From Rare Device via Design Milk.

Tuleh

I am drawn to the colors, patterns, and silhouettes of the Spring '09 Tuleh collection. Yay for Fashion Week! (images from Style.com)

Kayiwa

Look at these impeccable designs coming from a recent Master's graduate from the University Art and Design in Helsinki, Lincoln Kayiwa. I love the way his mind thinks in creating simple and functional design. He recently shared with me the Dino clothing rack and I am still in awe about the clever bone like concept. Stunning.
