Have a lovely weekend!

Kathryn said something that stood out to me at Alt last month that I am working on implementing in my life. "To build in little daily luxuries in your life." The last few weeks I have done this, it has been very rewarding. It only takes a few minutes each day to try something new and it is a simple act that is bringing me joy. From checking out the new buds on a tree in our yard, to picking up some succulents and even trying avocados in my egg scramble. I share some discoveries on my Instagram but half the time I like to soak it in sans a lens.

What about you? Do you find daily satisfaction in a little luxury? Try something new this weekend and tell me about it.

Have a wonderful weekend!

  8. I'm trying to live this way. So far it's working. I've found that walking around my front yard with my bare feet has done wonders for my happiness level.

I've been doing this by taking short walks every day to enjoy the weather and nature. I've also done it in a consumer way too - i've allowed myself to buy some special face care and hair products on occassion that I will tend to use daily so every time I put them on (i.e. a special face cream or use my mason pearson brush) it feels a bit luxurious.

  19. Fresh flowers in my bedroom, taking the time to sit and have my coffee by the window instead of over my computer, walking every day...
