Surprise Giveaway!

After decorating and tasting some of Sprinkles delicious pumpkin cupcakes, and after watching this video from Monocle about how architect Andrea Lenardin Madden came up with the brilliant Sprinkles cupcake design concept, I am definitely in the cupcake mood.

Since it is Friday, the beginning of a hopefully relaxing weekend, I thought it would be fun to do a random giveaway. Leave a comment on this post between now and Monday, Oct. 15th at 11:59pm and you will be entered to win one of my favorite cupcake books. I (perhaps, Vienna) will select a winner at random, and you will receive this goodie via snail mail. Good Luck!

Ahhh cupcakes, the simplest way to make a smile. I especially love the aesthetic of the cupcake that Sprinkles brings to the table! Long live the gormet treat.

We love cupcakes at our house. They're the perfect size for little ones. Plus, they eat all the frosting and decorations off the top and leave mom the bottoms. :) I'm good with that. I would love a cupcake book to give us inspiration.

My end of summer goal was to bake red velvet cupcakes from scratch, but since that never came to fruition, I've decided, too, to turn to the heaven-in-a-tube from Williams-Sonoma. Hopefully by Halloween!

this makes me wish there were Sprinkles in Australia! Loved the video :) I once tried to emulate the little designs on top of the sprinkles cupcakes by making them by hand...and then I just saw that they have them in bags and all so perfectly formed...what a time saver!

Wow, I am rather envious of you for that pumpkin cupcake... I've been searching for anything flavored to Halloween or Autumn here in Bangkok, without luck. I may have to buy an oven just to make my own pumpkin cupcakes... -X

I think it's great that they are sticking to one basic (yet delicious!) product and finding new and creative ways to distribute. A lot of business owners, as well as business hopefulls, overwhelm themselves by trying to keep up with the latest trends but this goes to show that if you find a niche, pursue it creativly and passionately, then you're bound to find someone who appreciates your "taste buds"!
