Diana vs Holga

I wanted one way back in '02 but never got around to getting one. They have become more commonplace since then, but I still want one, problem is I cannot decide which one I want first. Any recommendations?

Right on...I just got a Holga for an early Christmas present! It's totally different then anything I've used before. I realized the technology difference in today's kids when I shot a picture of my friend's little boy and the first words out of his mouth after the shot were, "Let me see....". How do you explain film to a 2 year old???? Good luck on your decision!

I also got a Holga for my brother for Christmas. I got him a starter kit that comes with film and a book. But I love the way the Diana looks (on the outside.)

I just got the Diana + as a birthday gift to myself. I've taken five rolls of film with it (that still need to be developed :)) and I love the way it feels in my hand. Light and simple, very low tech. I'd recommend this one, but either way it does take some getting used to when you've been shooting digital for awhile!

Holga! The guy at Ballard camera will even tape up (to spare you too much light leak) and tweak your holga for free just because he loves that people are discovering film photography again thanks to the Holga.

Gina White used a Holga when taking this treasure, FYI.
