Paris and Jill

(by Paris Gerrard)

The lovely Paris Gerrard emailed me about her beautiful oil paintings. I think they are spectacular, I would hang one of these beauties up in my house for sure. What is extra special about Paris, is that her and her mother Jill are both artists. How cool is that? I am sure they have fun times and creative moments together. Check out Paris' work here and Jill's work here.

I love their work. I peeked at their websites and saw the other butterflies in the series. How did they collaborate on them?? I am surprised at how affordable their work is.

Paris is beyond gorgeous as is her artwork! I'm a huge fan of her piece "Black & White" that you have pictured here!

Thank you for all of the encouraging comments. My mother and I paint together daily, so we tend to influence and inspire each other.

To answer Charlie's question the butterfly paintings were passed back and forth until we were both satisfied with the results.
