Set Editions
Four years ago, Alison Riley founded Set Editions with her letterpress Stop Talking cards (shown above). Set Editions has a little something for everyone, with a variety of bold + graphic foil stamped postcards, smart letterpress cards, and even a set called, "Cardstock" which includes functional cards you can use for an entire year.
She also designed a variety of letterpress cards with educational lists that include things like phobias, and wonders of the world (shown above) that not only you could send out to your pen-pals, but also frame and display on your wall. I like the elegant simplicity and cheerful nature of her work, and the company is also environmentally conscious using recycled and post-consumer papers. LOVE the " stop talking" cards, the quality is phenomenal and the come in the custest and most chic little black box. Restoration Hardware will be selling the " stop talking" and an exclusive edition that say " thanks but no thanks" this Christmas for $12...sneak preview.
i used to have a set of the "stop talking" cards- they're great! the piano player in my boyfriend's band is one of those people who never shuts up...so he had a pocketful of cards on hand to give to her whenever she didn't get the hint. not in a mean way, though, she always laughed!
