Naomi Averill

The book called, "A Child's Story of the World" by Donald Culross Peattie from 1937 has got to be one of my all-time favorite vintage children's book finds. It is full of outrageously stunning crisp and colorful block-style illustrations by Naomi Averill about the different ages of civilization.
