Your blog has been so super fab over the last 2 weeks. Thanks for the movie, book and recipe ideas. Thanks for making me think. Thanks for the colors and guests.
You've moved to the top of my little ol' blog list.
Isn't the Chihuly sculpture gorgeous? I haven't seen it in a long time. Just a couple weeks ago I saw his installation at the Desert Botanical Garden in Phoenix. Spectacular! He's an amazing artist.
Aren't there pieces by Chihuly in casinos all over the world? Isn't that the artist who said "art is not permanent" and then floated some of his pieces out to sea?
Diane - yes, he did float a bunch of pieces out to sea, in Venice. He goes all over the place and does installations and wherever installations are put, he always leaves at LEAST one piece behind to the museum/public garden/etc. Pretty awesome!

I love that ceiling. Very cool.
That ceiling is my favorite thing to always go and see when I go to Vegas. I've been the 5 times and I have over 30 pics of just the ceiling!!
Those are such great photos!
I just love the eclectic nature of your blog. :)
