A Few Movies....
This weekend I finally got around to watching 2 films on my list. Helvetica... which is a must see for the graphic designer type or anyone interested in typography, pretty cool.
and Son of Rambow, which made me laugh multiple times. If you are looking for an imaginative, artistic, takes place in England circa 1980s, feel like a kid again flick... add it to your list.
What are you watching?

this movie was too funny! Had me and the hubby laughing for hours.
Helvetica (the document---and well, the type also) is so great! Certain people featured in the document talk about the type so passionately!
Yes! Great films... You should check out Objectified. It's a new film by the Helvetica team. Looks awesome.

I just watched the Reader and thought it was so good. Highly recommend.
The kid on the left just freaks me out. Maybe its the eyebrows?
thanks for sharing! I've wanted to see the first but have never heard of the second.
son of rambow is the cutest!
I loved Son of Ranbow. It was so silly, and those little boys are adorable.
I agree the boys in Son of Rambow are adorable. I really enjoyed it.
I saw Helvetica on PBS, if not in the graphic arts most people don't even notice typeface.
Search out an old (60's) copy of Look or Life mag and see the difference. Or better yet any 'New Yorker' from the 30's or 40's.
I loved Son of Rambow too. Wasn't the little boy the sweetest thing? Totally charming.
son of rambow was adorable!
