Houses in Winter Park

I don't recall if I mentioned this before, but I have an ever growing collection of photographed houses that I've accumulated over the years. My dad is a builder/architect so growing up one of our family activities was jumping in the car and taking long (sometimes really long) drives to look at houses. Here are are a few quick house snaps from my Florida trip, all in the same Winter Park neighborhood.

SO beautiful, and all so different. I think the color of the first one is my favorite, and I love the garden. Amazing.

I love houses like that, my dream is to be able to at least stay in one for an extended time sometime in my life. I don't need to own it (I am more of a cozy living space kind of girl) but I would love to be able to spend some time in one. Thanks for sharing!

Great photos of some really great houses!

My husband and I are from the Bay Area, but took a bit of a detour a few years ago to live in Orlando. For the most part, I really...um...hated it.

We thought we might stay for awhile so started looking at purchasing a home. We found a great little old house on a beautiful tree lined street in Winter Park. I felt (still feel) like Winter Park is the one good thing about the Orlando area.

About three months after we bought our place, we ended up moving to RI so I could go back to school...and now we're back in the Bay Area. But we still own that little house in Winter Park.

One of my top 5 favourite things to do is drive around looking at beautiful houses! Especially in new towns that I am unfamiliar with!

Winter Park is awesome, while attending college at the Univeristy of Central Florida in Orlando, winter park was my saturday retreat to visit the farmers market and stroll through Park Avenue...love the houses. Many of them are even prettier at night when they have an open flame instead of a lightbulb on their brick walls outside of their house.

So nice of you to do a post about Winter Park! I found out in early May that I will be working/relocating to Winter Park... So ironic... I did a mini-profile on the little city just hours before you did your house post! It's a great place!!

I just moved out of Winter Park back home to Colorado. These houses were all on my daily walk (from my much more humble home on the west side)! Already I miss the lush green, the 70 degree Novembers, knowing folks in the grocery store, acorns popping under your feet, and lizards, lizards, lizards! Thanks for the post and to my friend Nancy for forwarding it.
