Chopstick Holders by guest: Brooke Reynolds

I've been stashing these away here and there for a few years. The
problem is I frequent the same restaurants again and again, so the
majority of this collection is duplicates. But I, for one, don't mind a
collection of repeats!

OMG! I have a collection of chopstick wrappers, too! I have been wanting to put them together into a book for a long time, but instead they are sitting in an envelope...

they're so lovely. my friend gave me some japanese candy after a trip to japan. the wrappers were so beautiful that I opened them carefully and put them up on my wall as art. i got so many compliments on it. people couldnt believe that they were candy wrappers!!!

There is a Chinese restaurant around here that uses the most beautiful wraps for their eggrolls. I will need to get one, sans food, next time I am there to show it off. : )

Hm. And I just threw my collection out, thinking NO ONE does that. Dang.

Oh my! I do that too! Only those from Japanese restaurants though. Some of the designs look like so much thought was put into them!
