Project Natal

I bet most of you who read this blog aren't into video games, oh believe me... neither am I, but when my husband shared with me this clip about Project Natal, which does more than just games, I was intrigued by where the level of technology is headed... Is this a little too much technology to have in your living room? Thoughts? Does anyone else think it is funny of how staged the actors in this clip are too, are they computer generated? Makes me laugh. Interactive to the extreme... or cool beans?

That's so cool! I don't like video games but that's amazing! Maybe they'll make computers like that some day.

yeh cause you'll be able to get 'life experience' staying in doors all day playing at life! what rubbish.

hideous, no way. NEVER in my flat. No, no no.

My boy just showed me this video a couple days ago, I gotta be honest and say I think it's overboard. I would feel uncomfortable having it in my home...don't get me wrong I like technology (we have an Xbox 360, tv, computers, tons of gadgets) but this seems like it's the beginning of a slippery slope to having little to no privacy, if you catch my drift.

An interface that my technophobe wife can use to access thousands of movies and TV shows, facebook and twitter(new features also announced with natal) with the flick of the hand instead of a controller that gives her fits of hysteria sounds like a great idea to me. Definitely not overboard.......

yeah my boyfriend showed me this on his xbox and i heard a couple people from E3 talk about it. (it was hosted in LA and my school's right around the corner) it's seems pretty cool theoretically but i wouldn't get one.

That looks just like a hoax. Too good to be true.

I read this blog and LOVE computer games.. but in my opinion, this Project Natal looks a little too good to be true.. it's proposing a BIG jump in videogaming.

In their E3 expo with their 'Milo' character, they imply some sort of high level of AI is at work with their games.. I simply don't believe it, AI is very backwards so far. So I will be a Saint Thomas about this..

Its a bit unreal :/
