Merci

I'm really not the biggest shopper, but I will have to say that so far as shops go Merci has got to be my favorite shop in Paris, well, pretty much one of my favorite shops around. It has got a bit of everything from a floral area, rotating art gallery, home furnishing, kitchenware, clothing, stationery, children's items, vintage french books and you can even select your own yarn, fabric, or customized perfume and pick up some Grom gelato (one of my favs) or stop by the cafe while you're at it. It is impeccably well done, the owners and creators, pure geniuses. Although not everything was not at my price point or budget, I was literally speechless walking through because it was incredible to see that a place in my inner dream world really exists. If I were to open the shop of my dreams... this would pretty much be it. If you're going to Paris, go to Merci, you will be happy you did.

111 rue de Beaumarchais // 75003 Paris

*Tomorrow I will share my other favorites of Paris and then next week the French countryside.

It's such a great shop, I went to the opening and bought a gorgeous vintage belt (which I since broke - too many macaroons...)

Also - Did you know it's meant to be a non-profit making shop? All the money goes to charity - The company that own it also have Bonpoint, I don't think they're short of a bob or two.
