To the French countryside...
When Steph and I made our way down to the countryside, I loved how the freeways were lined with linear trees, there were fields of gold, and tons of sunflowers. More fields of sunflowers than I have ever seen.
I can see why people from all over Europe come to vacation in this charming town of Beynac and Dordogne region, it really is quite dreamy.

I am completely jealous. I want to vacation there!
Gosh I stayed there too a few years ago. we were travelling back from La Rochelle and decided to cut across country. It's beautiful. I loved Sarlat.
I just read the book Timeline by Michael Crichton and it was set in Dordogne. Wow now that I can see what it actually looks like, it makes the book all the more interesting!
It looks straight out of a fairy tale, so magical

Man, the french countryside is gorgeous. it's like you're in another time.
Wow that is so beautiful! Looks like you had a great experience. I'll have to put that on the agenda for my Europe trip (all imaginary at the moment!)
That sea of sunflowers is incredible, and the shot of Beynac and Dordogne is so full of classic, old-world charm. I love it.
Those are beautiful photos! :)

I lived 4 years in Dordogne in the 13-centery castle, stunning place, but lot of work, Dordogne is one of my favorite areas in France, nice people, good food and wine, beautiful nature, lots to offer, but life took me to back to South Africa and now i am living in Andorra, small country but really nice place to live...
