Martha Stewart Living - October

Over at the Hostess with the Mostess, I came across these images from the Martha Stewart Living October issue. I love the cover and fun images, and I can't wait to go check my mail to flip through the whole thing. October seems to often be one of my favorite issues they produce, with lots of great Halloween and Autumn ideas. Overall their issues have gotten better, what do you think? How many of you read and/or subscribe to Living? (Just curious.)

I buy Living on the newsstand every month. I need to subscribe already. It has been insanely good lately – from the home tours to the blurbs in the front. I feel like they've finally take some of the good things about Blueprint and incorporated them into Living.

i have a free subscription to living, and i love it. but when it runs out i'll probably just buy a couple of issues per year. i love the special issues they do around halloween or christmas or valentine's day (i think it varies every year.) and i always buy those!

I used to get Living but it wasn't me (I was more Blueprint). However, I just picked up a copy over the weekend and this issue is so much better. I love the mushrooms out of gourds, the paper lanterns, and the embellished masks.

I have been subscribing since the Dec 1997/Jan 1998. Was just looking at this one the other day....just as good then as it is now...

Just renewed my subscription after many years of not...It definitely went through a rough patch where it was very Good Housekeeping. I think the quality is returning to these pages- I mean, LOOK at that cover!

I have had it for 2 years now. I started out with Blueprint, and then when they stopped publishing it, they sent me Living. However, I think I'm going to switch to Real Simple. It just seems to fit into my life better. I love all the recipes in Living, but they are special occassion kinds, not week night when my classes end at 7PM!

Just got mine yesterday and it got me all excited for Fall - it's chock full of modern-autumnal ideas. Sort of a combo of Blueprint craftiness & classic Martha.

My mother and I have had a MSL subscription for ages - However, I was sad to see Kids and Blueprint go away. I am still very happy with MSL Magazine! I can't wait to try some of the apple cider cocktails! YUM!
