Wow... only in Paris could a Chanel barn be constructed for a fashion show in the Grand Palais. Quite stunning.

OH my! That is quite the setting! LOVE it! Especially given the surroundings. Great contrast.

But the shoes I'm not so sure about...??? Very Candies 1982 and I'm not sure that's a look worth reintroducing. ;)

Your blog is a gem. I've been reading it for sometime.
Brooke and Abby (at Inchmark and Hi & Low respectively) are old friends of mine and Brooke and I worked at Martha Stewart together for several years. This post made me happy. I've read lots about the spring Chanel ready to wear collection this past week. Brilliant. An ode to Coco and her pastoral beginnings. Great work. Keep blogging.

Whitney --- Thank you so much, I really appreciate and it means a lot.
Are you still at Martha Stewart? Do you have a website or email?

So stunning! This Chanel show reminds me of the movie Zelary. If you haven't seen this movie - it is quite charming! You can catch glimpses of it on Youtube, but I suggest getting it from the library.

Chanel shows are always so amazing. I'm still not feeling the barn, though.

Amazing set, but the use of anorexic skinny-to-death models was really enfuriating.
