Happy Weekend + Uta Barth

Uta Barth
Uta Barth

I had these beautiful Uta Barth photos hanging around in my inspiration files, and they feel like fall to me. I love the way she plays with depth of field and focus in her photos. Hope you are going to have a lovely autumn weekend, reading anything good? Reading is on my brain because of our book club last night, we finished this one(well, I'm a little behind) and are starting this one.Happy weekend!

Hi Rachel, just stumbled across your lovely little blog via "a cup of jo" blog. I've just spent the last hour reading back through your posts! Such a lovely mix of music and lifestyle and adventures and... life! I'll definitely be checking in regularly! Really lovely.

The sofa photo is hanging in the building where I work. I've always liked the way the light in photo radiates out of the image as if you were standing in that room for real and that window was really just off to the right.
