V's party

We kept V's birthday party very simple. I had these grandiose ideas of what I wanted to do in terms of a theme, cake and invites, but we decided just to meet her 3 year-old requirements this year, which included cupcakes, sprinkles, balloons, and party hats. We had a lovely dinner and spent time with family, she loved every minute. Thank you to everyone who helped make it special, and Happy Birthday V!

So simple yet so pretty and festive. I'll have to remember this next time I find myself planning intricate party themes and fussy table decorations for my kids' parties!

Thanks for the ideas. We have a birthday coming up and I will keep reminding myself that simple is better.

Quick question... I am interested in taking your blog class at the art weekend. I have already been blogging for a couple of years but it is a very personal one for friends and family. I am interested in how to make it a marketable thing. Do you think your class would be for me?

Love the SIMPLE. What a fabulous thought to go for meeting your daughter's needs and helping her feel special and loved (which really is the point, isn't it?)

Doing more, while it surely would've been visually amazing, might've left you exhausted and kept you from enjoying the simplicity as well! SMART!

Love simple. I had grand plans myself. Need to remind myself from time to time to keep things simple and enjoy the time with friends and family instead. Happy birthday to your girl!
