Happy Monday.

V + Bunny

Hello my friends! I hope you had a lovely weekend and Easter. Over the weekend we surprised our little miss with a bunny (well, actually he is full grown and a 1-year-old) and she is elated. It is a Netherland Dwarf and we are still brainstorming for a good name. Any ideas?

My sister has a Netherland Dwarf. Her name is Greta Von Hoppins. My husband and I are bunny sitting right now and we love her. She is so sweet and as we found out yesterday a good detector of earthquakes.

Soo adorable! How about naming it Cadbury, like the chocolate :)

We had two, Buster and Babs (if you are old school cartoon fans you'll know them). They are very cute, just be wary of non-organic veggies. Their tummies are sensitive.

Our little black bunny just showed up on our doorstep one day. My son wanted it really badly so I chased it and caught it! Turns out it was a runaway or it was ditched because once we got a cage it went in it and just knew what to do. My son named it Grace, as in Graceland. It was a boy but the name stuck anyway :)

how cute is he...well, might sound a little weird, but as he is a "Netherland Dwarf" why not name him after one of "The Seven Dwarfs" hehe! ;) (Doc, Grumpy, Happy, Sleepy, Bashful, Sneezy, and Dopey!) depends on his character, i guess, hehe! let me know what you think! ♡

I know a Dutch man named Wim. Could be a cute name for a bunny with Dutch origins.

Ah cool! If you ever have any questions about your new little bun rabbit.org is a great resource! I used it all the time when we first got Eames! You know bunnys can be potty trained, right? It's pretty awesome!

bunnies are the BEST pets. i should know. my family had 30 bunnies running around our yard at one time.

cecil, bartholomew, or edmund are all names of my favorite bunny pets!

You guys are great! Thanks for all of your input and name advice. We are still trying to convince V there is a better name out there then her proclaimed, "bun-bun".

I took a stray puppy to a shelter over the weekend and named her Winnie (short for something I didn't yet decide... Winnifred? Eowyn? [clearly recently watched Lord of the Rings]).
I'm also in a house full of Dutch people right now if you want me to ask what a Dutch person would name their rabbit.

There's always Miffy, like the character in the Dick Bruna series. Miffy books are also very popular among Dutch kids too, according the Dutch family I used to babysit for.
