Marc Olivier's ABC Paris + Giveaway *winner announced*

Marc_Olivier

A while back I posted about Marc Olivier's photography and I was happily surprised when Marc emailed to tell me that his ABC Paris prints are now for sale in 5x5 and 8x8 prints as well as a full collage print. The quote by Victor Hugo, "If you know how to see, you can recognize the physiognomy of a king in a door knocker" motivated college professor and photographer Marc to pursue photographing the city of Paris like a book. The scenes focus upon the beautiful found alphabet symbols throughout the Parisian landscape and are stunning when viewed separately or collectively.

The prints start at only $10 and Marc is kind enough to offer a giveaway to Black Eiffel readers the chance to win a $100 gift card to be used in his shop. To enter, please leave a comment on this post (only one per person please) by Friday, April 9th at midnight and the winner will be announced on this post Monday, April 12th.

Screen shot 2010-04-07 at 11.26.28 AM

Also if you are eager to get your hands on a print now, you will receive a 15% discount on his website when you enter the code (BlackEiffel). Thank you Marc!

The winner randomly chosen from random.org for the giveaway is Dolores! Thank you everyone for entering and also to Marc.

My limited expertise on art, photography etc. leaves me feeling incapable of making a "stellar" comment, but this I know. I know that I love photography, I love stuff that speaks to my love for France, and I love, no, celebrate originality. That said, I cannot help but write something on Marc Olivier's ABC Paris Photos. I hope that you would take a close look at all of these photos, I will be sure to purchase some myself. À la prochaine!
