Design for Everyday Rituals by guest : Rachel Faucett
Here are a few designers I came across recently that are rethinking the details in everyday objects. I love their simple yet novel approach!
French design firm Les FM adds an imaginative touch to the objects used in our little everyday rituals.
ForMug is a wrap that allows you to take a warm mug without burning your hands.
Tou'dou provides soft, pleasant contact with a bottle and makes it easier for the baby to hold.
The Cocoon is perfect for those who love to wrap themselves in a blanket before curling up to read a book.
Dutch designers Van Eijk & Van der Lubbe's Usuals collection consists of common products that have been almost forgotten among the more luxurious products that have taken their place. The lunch box is designed to bring pleasure to packing your own lunch, and the sewing kit is intended for making quick repairs instead of rushing out to buy new clothes.
