Thanks to Lovelorn Unicorn + Clever Nettle I really want to get my hands on the Japanese Fudge Magazine. The photos and styling looks amazing -- although, I am frequently drawn to the simplicity of Japanese style. Anyone seen an issue in person?

I just love those photos.... I wonder how the photographer achieves that ethereal quality? That particular airy feel reminds me somewhat of the 2nd image in this post: http://designfixation.blogspot.com/2010/07/fantasy-afternoon.html

These are gorgeous! I love the simple backdrop in the first photo with the splashes of colour in the balloons, very cool!

Oooh, dreamy! It reminds me a bit of Lula magazine, from the UK.

Yes, I have a few. They're lovely! I get mine at Mitsuwa in San Diego when I go home to visit my family. I think you can get them in any city that has a Japan town, or at least a Japanese market with a bookstore. Here's a few pictures from the fall issue I picked up last year:

Their winter issue was really pretty too!

Oh, Fudge Magazine is loveeeee! I have the May 2010 issue I got in Hongkong, the one where the first photo is from. The magazine so full of inspirational images and it's actually quite thick, which is even lovelier. I shall scan those when I have the time.;]

if you can't buy them where you are, you can download HQ scans of japanese fashion (and craft) magazines like fudge at http://jmagazinescans.livejournal.com/

hope that helps! :)
