A new low calorie snack...

weight watchers

As I am working on slimming down this extra baby weight by being not only more health conscious but calorie conscious, I am on the hunt for low calorie snacks that taste good. In the past I have been a big fan of Laughing Cow Cheese wedges and crackers for a snack, so when Weight Watchers wanted to send me their new spreadable wedges in different flavors I was game to try them out. My favorite flavored wedge so far is the Jalapeno Pepper, it tastes like creamy pepperjack and for only 30 calories it is something that you can spread on anything from crackers to apples and feel great about it. What is your favorite healthy or low calorie snack?

Thanks for the info! I'm on the look out for this stuff too because of extra baby weight. Unfortunately my baby is days away from being two years old!

My favorite healthy snack is a Fiji apple with a little peanut butter. I also love cottage cheese with peaches.

I actually make whoopie pies or cupcakes using a weight watchers recipe... just use sugar-free cake mix, a can of diet soda and an egg white. It's fun to play with soda flavors and cake flavor combos, and great for a sweet tooth like myself.

That sounds yummo! I'm starting Weight Watchers today so maybe I will go pick some up. I'm trying to shed some baby weight too. I think once my lil one hits a year old in May that if I haven't lost the weight, statistically speaking I never will.

I love the Laughing Cow cheeses too, so I'll give this a spin.

I have a bunch of low calorie menus and snacks for download on my website. Click on 'free stuff' and see if any of it speaks to you.

My favorite healthy snacks are smooshed avocado on toasted bread (any kind you choose works)with one more of the following: salt/pepper, salsa, chopped tomato, cilantro, fresh squeezed lime.

My second favorite is a cup of non-fat Fage brand greek yogurt topped with agave honey, fresh fruit, or vanilla granola.

Either one of these will help you feel full. I lost 7lbs over the summer alternating between them for lunch or dinner, and I never felt deprived.

I like making waldorf salad: chopped apples and celery, toasted walnuts, currants, all held together with a bit of nonfat greek yogurt - plain, vanilla, or orange. Great with a wasa cracker on the side!

Wow, that looks like a blatant rip off of Laughing Cow. I'm eager to see how the prices compare.

as of late: low-fat greek yogurt mixed with dried herbs and paired with whole wheat crackers. it's really helped to satisfy my pre-dinner hunger. aka the time i usually attack the kitchen:O
