Music Monday : Jessie J in the Subway
Boombox Series // Jessie J from Arcade44.tv on Vimeo.
When singers share their voice with people passing by on the street it is so cool and 22-year-old British sensation Jessie J singing in the subway in New York City is brilliant. She has some serious pipes! With only a tiny boombox to accompany her you can really see how her voice shines. What have you seen/heard while walking around on the street? Some of my favorites were awesome break dancers in France and a violin quartet in New York. Do you think popular artists should do more of this, who would you want to see/hear?

very cool, thanks for sharing. I love her message too.
I love that! I think it's amazing when people do that sort of thing, there should be more of it. The person I would most want to see is John Butler, playing his guitar and singing on the street. I love his guitar playing and apparently he used to do a lot of playing in public places before he made it big!
[if you've never heard his music, you really should check it out! this song really showcases his talent: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=6VAkOhXIsI0]
every time i see people performing on the subway i secretly hope it's someone famous and that i'll be able to recognize them. so i definitely wish more people would do that.
I saw this on youtube a few weeks ago and loved it. Amazing.
