Jeni's Splendid Ice Creams
I'm still pinching myself for not picking up the Jeni's Splendid Ice Creams At Home Book that I flipped through over the weekend because hands down ice cream (or gelato, frozen yogurt ...) is my major weakness when it comes to sweets. Add in delicious artisanal flavors, ice cream macarons and beautiful design, I am all over it. Say hello to Ohio based Jeni's Splendid Ice Creams if you haven't already met the much loved and talked about shop yet. I love that you can order their goodies online, perfect for an ice cream tasting party don't you think?!

we visited ohio this past spring... and discovered jeni's... it might be worth moving north. glad to know there's a book though. maybe i can bring a little bit of goodness home.
Um, YEAH! An ice cream tasting party sounds like my kind of shindig. Hmmmm... ice cream-filled macarons... drooool
We moved from Columbus to Cincinnati three years ago and I still miss Jeni's! It's usually our first stop when we go back to visit. We were there this past Monday and had it for lunch! Sooooo delicious and all their shops are designed so beautifully that I take pictures every time we go. I recently won a Jeni's t-shirt from a photo contest they had on Facebook. I wear my shirt proudly! That cookbook is worth buying. I've made the strawberry buttermilk twice and the dark chocolate. Both were great!
Ah, Jeni's was one of my very favorite things about living in Columbus! We'd take every visitor there. It ruined me for all other ice cream. Really it did. Although I do go for local frozen yogurt, there isn't any local Utah ice cream that I like. So every once in a while I splurge on a container of Jeni's from one of the local stockists. I really should get the recipe book. Or maybe I shouldn't! :)
They have a few places to get Jeni's here in Nashville... I never knew ice cream could be such an experience! SOOO yummy!
That looks totally amazing! YUM. I need some icecream right now. Apparently, according to your comments, I need hers!

I may or may not have picked my apartment in columbus due to it proximity to a Jeni's shop. The ice cream is soooo good I am a little evangelist for their yummy treats :)
Jeni's now has her ice cream available throughout the country in a number of specialty markets. Look at http://www.jenisicecreams.com/pages/Retail-Partners.html to see if there might be a store near you.
This is one temptation that I loathe to give up .. They look tasty. I will try.
Honestly, I haven't tried her ice creams... By the looks of it, I should! Yum
yay OHIO! love this post. p.s. lemon blueberry is the BEST.
Just spotted these at Whole Foods last saturday. I had the goat cheese with red cherries. AMAZING!
