Stanton Warriors - Turn Me Up Some

If you've been reading Black Eiffel for a while you will know my admiration for awesome dance moves (see these previous posts 1 2 3 4 5 ) so although this clip may not be for everyone, I think it is pretty darn cool -- hip-hop/breakdance, ballet and disco all in one... something you don't see everyday and a little something for all you dancer lovers out there. What do you think? How do you like the way they edited it?

i really enjoyed watching this. the way it's edited is brilliant! you can really notice each dancer's difference in technique and body movement when it's chopped up like this. i love to watch all forms of dance, whether it's choreographed or freestyle.

I think watching breakdance is amazing and this video is very good. I like when different styles of dance and music are mixed together to create something new. Have you seen this Volkswagen ad?

Really amazing clip. I too enjoy and appreciate dance. They make it look so effortless, particularly the break dancer. That's more than dancing, that's pure athleticism!

you really and truly find the most amazing clips. i have discovered so many new bands and new music because of the things you post. i could spend hours looking for new music but because of what you post it shortens my journey that much more. thanks!

I like the juxtaposition. Am I the only one who wonders how the breakdancer's white track suit didn't get dirty/wet when he was doing some of his moves on the wet roof?

@sara -- hahaha i was wondering that too!

@jillian m -- i agree. i love how the editing of the video highlights the distinctions of each type of dance and each dancer's own, unique style
