Ritual Cleanse

Every year I do my best to do some sort of cleanse. Last year I tried this one and as part of a monthly practice I fast one day each month. It still amazes me how connected our minds, bodies and spirits are and how I always see a triple shift in everything when I focus on one aspect heavily. This past weekend I took on the challenge of drinking only fresh cold-pressed juice for three days, and today I feel fantastic.

Ritual Cleanse sent me their three-day seasonal reset juice cleanse and it has been a long time since I've felt this energized. At times it was a little tricky as I prepared meals for our little ones and it being Halloween weekend and all, but after day two it was all good. Their system of orderly bottled fresh organic juices was super easy, just untwist and drink (about every two to three hours) which I liked and found really convenient. (Check out my fridge!) Although I thought they were all tasty, the cashew drink at the end of the day was my favorite.

What about you? Have you participated in a cleanse or do you ever fast? What about drinking green juice or smoothies? I would love to hear about it!

Want to try Ritual Cleanse maybe pre or post holidays? They are offering Black Eiffel readers a discount of 10% off through November 30th. Just enter BEreader at checkout.

(I was not compensated for this post, I reviewed and did this cleanse because I was super excited about trying it, and normally do this kind of thing in my real life.)

I tried my first cleanse this summer (Organic Avenue). It really opened my eyes to what I was putting in my body and how that affected my energy. I probably will do another one sometime but I generally tend to eat fairly healthy and have become a part-time vegetarian. I love smoothies made of spinach & bananas btw.

I actually just came off of a 30 day cleanse in which I juiced and ate raw (dependent on the day). I felt crazy that first week because I was detoxing. I'm now transitioning off of it with vegan food. I'm super intrigued by these juices! One of the hardest parts was at work when people would look at my bottle of green juice! Haha.

My sister and I are trying to schedule in the Clean cleanse! How did you like it? Did you do the full three weeks?

I'm actually in a 5-day cleanse right now. It's my first one and I'm on day two. So far so good. I feel like I'm constantly eating-is that normal? Consuming vegetables, juices, or fruits every couple of hours?

I recently went off of dairy, gluten, sugar, preservative, etc. for about 3 weeks. Wow. Total confirmation about how what I put in my body affects me in every single way. I do green smoothies almost every day for breakfast. I've found it a nice way to start the day.

To be honest, I don't think highly of cleanses. They can help short term but if you really want to feel better, then you need to eat healthier. Plain and simple. :)

I'm so intrigued by the idea, maybe I could do 1 day! Just my crazy ritual of my cup of coffee each day for the post 20 years would be interesting to give up for a period of time to see how I felt! I'll check their site out. Thanks!

Thanks for this post. I planned to do a 21 day cleanse in the next week. I have even considered going back to my vegetarian diet not that I eat much meat now but the sodas are turning my skin dark. :(

In Philly we have a company called Catalyst Cleanse. Same concept. 3 and 5 day cleanses. Amazing juices, amazing results. You gain such clarity on a cleanse. I like to do them at least every other month, and some day will get brave enough and do a 21 day cleanse.
