Hunter Wellies + Swims

On a recent dreary and drizzly day, Mac and I had a long and interesting discussion about Hunter Wellies. He is more from the country, and I am more from the city, and we have come to the conclusion that we have very different opinions on the matter of where and how they should be worn. What are your views?

These swims are another fresh approach to the rubber trend.

I'm a city girl and a big Hunter Wellie fan. I wear them whenever it rains or snows and I love the mix of country in the city!

oooh, i'd never seen swims before, those are fabulous (just wish they were a bit more affordable for rubber shoes...)

I'm deffinately Country!! They look good on a boat, mucking out the gutters, cleaning out the culverts on walking on the beach.

I think the black ones make a woman look sexy and powerful.

Despite the strange looks I get from fellow city dwellers, I wear my black Hunter Wellies very often. They seem to go with anything ~ I wear them with Marimekko skirts, jeans, spring green trench coats, and argyle sweaters!
We get a lot of snow and rain in Colorado and while everyone else is sloshing about in wet socks and shoes, I'm comfy and warm in my boots! {no sweaty feet}

Hunter wellies are sexy on practically anyone. Especially black, red and pink.
