I have been looking forward to this show for a long time as well! I blogged about it right after I finished the first episode! I also adore their friend Claudia! This show is a great way to relive our favorite trip to Spain!

It was different, that's for sure. I mostly enjoyed listening to them speak and translate for eachother (since I'm a language geek and not as much a foodie). I never would have watched though if you hadn't recommended it, so thanks!

I LOVED the show - everything about it. Spain is so fun to visit. I am typing and mixing the Spanish rice they made the 1st episode. The people of Spain are a bit stuck up - and I love them for it. I am totally enjoying this show!!

Totally dug it and want the new Spanish-ified version of "On The Road Again" that plays over the opening credits. Hope they release that.

thought it was kind of cool and different from rick steves or anthony bourdain - i'm glad it's not completely narrated and it's mostly from the perspective that we're along for the ride. they're sort of a funny bunch, and some of the antics seem for the camera, but there are quite a few moments that made me laugh. i'll be watching it throughout it's run ... i've missed mario batali. :D

love spain, love the food and liked the show. crocs or no crocs, I thoroughly enjoy how much Mario loves food. Also really impressed by his and Gwyneth's Spanish - perfect. Definitely could've done without her though.. she's kind of a bore and it was lame that she nagged Mario about eating meat while she ate fish. since when is lobster a vegetable?

overall I appreciate this show in that it will get folks to consider & explore other parts of such a wonderful country.
