Jamie Oliver
After perusing Jamie Oliver's cookbook for a bit, I decided to check out his website and to my delight found his amazing line of well-packaged food products and kitchen accessories. (the packaging has been chattered about in the blogsphere recently here, here, here and here... etc. well deserved attention wouldn't you agree?) The packaging and branding is done by Pearlfisher and illustrated by one of my favorite typographic illustrators Marion Deuchars (previously posted here) and the kitchen products are designed by Phil Longstaff and shakers by Lincoln Rivers and Alex Muspratt-Williams. I did not realize how expansive Jamie's empire really is, until now -- he even recently launched his own magazine called Jamie in Dec. 08. This is also an interesting current article just published about his views on the recession. I hope his product become more readily available in the U.S. soon.
ps. Has anyone used his Flavour Shaker? It looks intriguing.

This guy is always full of energy and has great recipes!
That packaging is FANTASTIC. Right up my alley.
I have such a crush on him! I really like that new book, Jamie at Home. The photos are gorgeous and I like his philosophy.
i have a total crush on him too...i'm such a sucker for those foodie guys. that packaging is total perfection.
I love his style too and I'm glad to see they tamed his hair a bit for the latest book/magazine. It was quite poofy for a while there!
I loooooove Jamie Oliver's receipes. I bought that book last week and I think it is really amazing!
I just saw this at my local B&N. Looked beautiful but it was $10, which kind of feels like a splurge these days, you know?
I know I'm a bit behind on this but I only discovered your blog at the weekend so I'm working my way through it :) I own the Flavour Shaker and swear by it. I've found that Mr likes using it more than I do, makes him feel manly in the kitchen! If you can get hold of his DVD's get them - he has two that accompany Jamie at Home and its a great excuse to watch hours worth of him!!
