Paper Whites
This lovely post over at Design Sponge reminded me that I spaced out on my winter indoor plantings and have to go pick up some paper white bulbs, pronto. How many of you do paper whites or amaryllis this time of year? I love how they give our house a living winter pick me up.

Thank you for reminding me about Paper Whites. I used to force them every winter and haven't done it for a few years. It is so fun to see them visibly taller every day and living plants in the winter bring a breath of fresh air to the indoors.

I don't do paper whites, but I love amaryllis and hyacinth at this time of the year! This year, my christmas decorations are in all pink, so I have pink amaryllises growing visibly every day!
I love bulbs in the winter. I have 5 paper whites right now that are close to flowering. Every day they get a little bit taller. I love watching them grow and I'm glad to read that other people do to!
