Best Blueberry Streusel Muffins
This morning my little sous chef helped me make some delicious Blueberry Streusel Muffins, and she is proud to say she was in charge of the streusel. I clipped the recipe from The Best of America's Test Kitchen Magazine from 2008 and tried it for the first time today, and they turned out excellent! I have yet to make a recipe from The Best of America's Test Kitchen that doesn't turn out well. I enjoy how they explain the scientific process along with their recipes of why they make specific alterations. To download the Blueberry Streusel Muffin recipe click here.
Recently, recipes I am trying come from all different sources. What is your favorite place to go to find great recipes? Online... blogs... cookbooks? I'd love to hear about them.
On a side note, I came across this recipe explanation for a Cobb Salad that looks delicious.

Anything from Wednesday Chef or Orangette! (that's probably obvious to this crowd though....) TheKitchn has great simple stuff.
gimmie!!! i want to eat that!
mmm I love any recipe involving blackberries, I may need to test these out this weekend! My favorite food blogs are Smitten and food52.
These look great and I love that it uses frozen blueberries, since I always have those on hand. Perhaps this dreary rainy day is a perfect day to bake? I also love the kitchn and orangette. My go-to for regular family dinners is Cooking Light (myrecipes.com).
I'm a recipe geek and go to the library to take out cookbooks.
There. I've admitted it. Haha

I have to agree about America's Test Kitchen - you just can't ruin one of their recipes. I'm excited to try this one!
For online recipes I frequent 101Cookbooks and SmittenKitchen:

http://smittenkitchen.com/
Or I browse Tastespotting if I have a few ingredients and want to find a recipe that includes what I already have. You can search by ingredient which is great.

Good luck in your online recipe searches. Cheers!
Could you please send your sous chef to my house?

i gotta check out america's test kitchen. my fav's are: David Lebovitz and La Tartine Gourmande. Gastronomer's Guide also puts up great recipes. Tastespotting is my site of choice when I'm super hungry, it's past my eating hour in the evening, and I want to torture myself.
