Sponsor Highlight : Moop

Moop's variety of beloved bags are not only impressive at first glace when it comes to their cool minimal design, but when I learned that they are handmade with care in their Pittsburgh studio by a small group of mindful people including the owner Wendy, I was amazed and delighted. I am putting some of these lovelies on my wish list for sure. The problem I am having is picking just one, they are all so gorgeous. I also really like that they have great options for men, my husband really does need a great new 'man purse' and I've got to show him these.

Which bags do you fancy?

Here are my top three favorites, but they all are awesome:

The Letter Bag $191
The Porter $91
The Messenger $187

Let's Make Some Great Art

I've been a big fan of the work of illustrator/designer Marion Deuchars for quite a while, so when I came across news of her fantastic new activity book Let's Make Some Great Art which assists kid's (or adults) to have fun with art I was jazzed. The website is brilliant too, check it out here.

Has anyone seen it in person? This is right up my daughter's alley!

Hello Northern California!

Yesterday we finally got some exciting news that we have been anticipating and I am happy to share. My husband is being transfered for his job and we are moving to the Sacramento area! It is happening really fast, and we are thrilled and looking forward to a new adventure, new city and surrounding areas to explore. You nice readers always have the best tips and suggestions, tell me what you know and love about Sacramento and surrounding areas (he most likely will work north of the city). Thank you!

I'm going to sign off for the weekend because we are flying out to check out areas. Have a great weekend!

*On a side note, my posts have been lighter than normal the last few weeks because I'm still trying to hammer out some computer issues. I guess sometimes you get in trouble for being an early adopter, Lion and those Geniuses are not necessarily on my good list right now.

Jeni's Splendid Ice Creams

I'm still pinching myself for not picking up the Jeni's Splendid Ice Creams At Home Book that I flipped through over the weekend because hands down ice cream (or gelato, frozen yogurt ...) is my major weakness when it comes to sweets. Add in delicious artisanal flavors, ice cream macarons and beautiful design, I am all over it. Say hello to Ohio based Jeni's Splendid Ice Creams if you haven't already met the much loved and talked about shop yet. I love that you can order their goodies online, perfect for an ice cream tasting party don't you think?!

Winter and Summer Fruit

The lovely Claire recently came out with some fantastic new fruit prints. I especially love the winter fruit print, it is very beautiful. See the prints in her etsy here.

Twenty-Seven Names

When fashion companies get all creative with their look book it is so refreshing. I paused and smiled big when I saw Twenty-Seven Name's imaginative and modern way to showcase their lovely clothes. Genius! Check out the portraits below too. Simple but memorable, way to go Twenty-seven Names!

Peggy Wong Photography

Pretty much everything that the talented Peggy Wong does amazes me. She is a brilliant and experienced designer, art director, photographer and even has her own product line which is very beautiful. When she started showcasing her photos from her European trip on her blog over the last few months, I felt as if I could instantly transport myself into each shot to enjoy the wonders of traveling vicariously through her work.

Want to take your own mock vacation and see some other beautiful spaces? Check out her recently launched professional photography website where her passion for the medium definitely shines through. Also see her other amazing work here.
