Crayola Color Chart
Steve Von Worley created the above chart which demonstrates the fascinating evolution of Crayola's crayon box colors over time. So many choices now, so many choices... I wonder what will happen in the future? It is sure nice to have options, but I am also drawn to the simplicity of 1903.

i love colors.
WOW! that is awesome!!
1958. That, I will admit, is my Crayola era. And nothing made me happier - under the tree or on my birthday - than a huge box of crayons.
I can still smell them. Heaven.
I love this. Shows how much choice we have nowadays. Too much sometimes some might say.
this is amazing! love it. it's a lot of choice for a 5 year old, lol ;) kate
This is fascinating. I'm not that old, but I had no idea the colors had changed (more than once!) since I was a kid.
Oh my goodness...I didn't realize. Oddly this brings up a repressed memory for me. I can recall being VERY bitter toward my mother because she would only let me get the 24 pack AT most and the girl who sat by me all throught elementary school (it was a small town) always got the 64 pack with the built in sharpener. I think I still might be a little bitter! LOL
SO. COOL!
that is colorlicious!
amazing!
do you think this would be kind of cool framed in a kids room? looks like modern art to me.
Looks like a fun file cabinet
EXCELLENT!!! Crayola the new pantone :)
I love it!!
So cool! Now, if only I could find the Macaroni and Cheese shade...
