Music Monday : Andrew Bird

I have been listening to the new Andrew Bird album, "Break It Yourself" on repeat since it came out last week. He is an incredible musician and this album is stunning. Whistling, duets, mellow harmonies and interesting acoustic and violin sounds have me oohing and ahhing. It is my favorite album of his yet.

As I listened to it multiple times I never reached for the skip button (which is rare for me -- I can't remember the last time that happened). It is a very solid, well paced, and balanced, quite lovely. Have you been listening to it too, thoughts?

I adore AB and I can't believe he couldn't believe he could top Noble Beast, but he did and continues to gives us consistently awe-inspiring music.
